If you have users who do not have or use an email address, but would like them to be notified to participate in the survey, you can have the notifications sent through SMS.
Admins can input phone numbers into user profiles in Leapsome. Then, when SMS notifications are enabled, notifications will be sent via SMS to users who do not have an email address listed.
Add phone numbers to user profiles
To input phone numbers to user profiles, admins can choose to insert the phone number into the Excel sheet and upload it to the user and teams. Go to 'Company' > 'Employees' > 'Actions' > 'Add employees' > 'Multiple people' > 'Import from Excel' > Download and populate the template. There will be a column to upload phone numbers to user profiles in bulk. As the text notification is only sent to users without email addresses, you will need to define a unique user name in the Email column, e.g. firstname.lastname. You will find more information in this article: Kiosk mode: invite employees without an email address to the Leapsome platform.
Please note: text messages will be sent in the language indicated in the user profile, which can be updated in the Excel file under 'platform.' If no language is indicated, the default language will be English.
Admins can also choose to input the phone number into the user profile manually. Go to 'Company' > 'Employees' > select user to update and click on the pencil icon next to their name; In the page that opens up, navigate to 'Info' > 'Personal' and enter their phone number > 'Apply changes'.
Enable SMS in Survey settings
In order to enable SMS notifications go to 'Surveys' > click on a relevant survey and open its settings > 'Notifications' > Send SMS notifications to users who don't have an email address but a phone number. When enabled, users who have a phone number and no email address in their user profile will be notified through SMS.
