When setting up your review template, you can define your overall timeline for the review process, including individual deadlines for the individual steps. What steps are included in your timeline depends on your scope. For the count of days, we take calendar days into consideration, not working days.
Please note: all deadlines are soft deadlines. Even if a deadline for the self-assessments or peer-assessments has passed, employees can keep writing and editing their assessments until the assessment has been shared with the employee or the review cycle has been closed.
The kickoff date for the timeline will be defined when creating a review cycle based on this template.
The review cycles do not automatically close when the final stage of the review is reached; the cycle has to be manually closed by clicking on 'Close cycle'. Otherwise, the platform will auto-close the cycle 2 months after the last stage date is over.
Please note that when a review cycle is closed:
- All open tasks related to that cycle will disappear from users' task lists.
- Participants can no longer finalize or sign a review.
- Managers can still share the review with the participant if it was finalized before the cycle was closed.
For comprehensive 360° review processes, we recommend an overall timeline of approximately 4 weeks.
