When newly creating a survey, in the section 'Participants' you can decide whether a raw data export will be enabled. This is only possible before you send out the first survey round and is only available to Admins.
The raw data exports allow you to manually deep dive further into the results. It, however, also reduces survey anonymity, which is why we don't recommend it for anonymous surveys.
If you activate the export, survey participants will be informed that the raw data can be exported, and thus they may be more likely to be identified.
Please note: Because we take anonymity very seriously, and want to respect the participants, if the raw data export toggle is not enabled before the survey is launched, we’re not able to provide raw data exports afterward.
The export will then show you the demographic details of the respondents per question. Please note that the anonymity threshold you set for the survey will still be respected so that you wouldn't see the results that are below the threshold.
The export for admins will look like the following:
For the comments export, if anonymity is enabled, only results matching anonymity requirements will included. When downloading comments, if the anonymity threshold is not met, information about the commenter’s team will be anonymized:
Please note: A survey owner can also produce a raw data export if the setting is enabled. However, this export will contain less user information. For example, age, tenure, and gender would not be included in the export.
