When creating a custom survey question, you can decide if the answer type will be open text, scale, scale and/or open text, multiple choice, or multiple choice and/or open text.
If you decide to include a scale in your question, then you can decide which scale you would like to use. The following scales are available to choose from:
0-10: not at all --> absolutely
Likert: Strongly disagree --> Strongly agree
Satisfaction: Very dissatisfied --> Very satisfied
Quality: Very poor --> Very good
Frequency: Never --> Very frequently
Performance: Awfully --> Superbly
Importance: Not at all important --> Extremely important
Focus: Much less focus --> Much more focus
Emotion:
Each scale can provide a different insight into specific topics. For example, if a change was instilled in a process or the company, and you would like to get insight from the team on how well received this change is, you can choose the scale 0-10, likert, or satisfaction. If you would like insight into how often the team would like certain events to occur (ie, meetings, team events, presentations, surveys, assessments), you can use a frequency scale. If you would like feedback on how well something was executed ( a transition, a change in process, etc), you can use the performance scale. If you would like to understand where your team would like to provide more attention and have more projects allocated, you can use the importance or focus scale. If you would like to understand the emotions behind how your team is feeling on a specific topic, you can utilize the emotion scale.
