You can link competencies to personal development goals to track your progress in improving that specific competency if this option is enabled by the admin in your company from Settings > Module & feature settings > Goals > Hide option to link goals to competencies (should be kept unchecked). To link the goal to a competency, navigate to 'Goals' > click on a goal and click on the gear icon to open its settings > 'Competencies'. You can then link to any number of relevant competencies that you are looking to track the progress of with this goal.
How competencies are linked with goals and learning
You can connect competencies to specific goals and learning paths within the platform to help employees track their improvement in these competencies.
You can link a specific competency, such as 'communicate effectively,' to a learning path. Once this competency is linked to a learning path, then when this competency is linked to a goal, then that learning path will also be available in the right context bar of a goal, to ensure that employees have access to relevant resources available when they are trying to improve that competency.
