If a manager finalizes an assessment for a direct report and the visibility settings for a manager assessment are "once the manager shared it" but they cannot themselves, the admin can do so on their behalf. If there are peer and direct report assessments with the same visibility settings, sharing the manager assessment as an admin will also release these. The visual of this option can be seen in the screenshot below.
To do so, navigate to the dashboard of the cycle ('Reviews' tab > 'Cycles' > click on the name of the relevant cycle). Search for the name of the direct report, hover over them and click on the pencil icon to edit the participant.
Next, share the review by clicking the arrow next to the manager's name. We would recommend that you share the review during the development talk phase.
If a reviewee does not have a manager within the cycle, and the visibility settings denote "once the manager shared it" for peer and direct report assessments, these will be shared automatically as there is no manager to release them. They will also be shared automatically if the manager participant is removed during the cycle.
HRBP's can also share the assessment for the employees they manage if they have access to the current status page of the review cycle (enabled in cycle settings> Users with group access (HRBPs) can open the cycle (once live) to see progress of their group).
