The Matrix below will give you an overview of the Survey visibility and access rights of (super) admins, team leads, managers, and users. More information on the visibility and access rights of 'additional managers' you can be found in this article.
As a reminder:
- Super-admins and Admins can be assigned by other super-admins for all activated modules via ('Employees' > 'Edit' user > Platform Role) or for specific modules ('Settings' > 'Module Settings' > Select users with admin rights for module).
- HRBPs can be assigned by (super) admins ('Employees' > 'edit' user) to manage other users, teams, or locations.
- Team leads can be assigned by (super) admins via ('Employees' > 'Edit' user).
- Every user that has at least one direct report automatically becomes a 'Manager' (of the assigned direct reports).
- Users are all other users who have no specific access rights.
Please Note: Additional managers can see the survey results of their direct reports if they are shared with them via the survey visibility setting 'Results of direct / indirect reports'.
If enabled, cascading access doesn't apply to additional managers, i.e. the additional manager can see survey results of their (dotted line) direct reports (if shared with them) but not of their (dotted line) indirect reports.
The results of team leads will be included in the results of all teams they lead. Therefore, if a team lead leads both the sales team, and revenue operations teams, then their results will be included within the results of both teams.
