Continuous Feedback with Leapsome
This document addresses the most pressing questions you might have about digital continuous feedback at [customer], i.e., why do we want to implement digital continuous feedback, who can give feedback to whom, who will be able to see the feedback, who is the contact person at [customer] and where can I find further information.
Additionally, you will find information about the software platform Leapsome that we use to run the digital continuous feedback and on how to get started with the platform.
Why digital continuous feedback?
Digital continuous feedback is not supposed to replace interpersonal interactions between peers or employees and managers. Instead, it is an addition to such interactions. Experiences from many companies show that digital continuous feedback leads to more face-to-face feedback as well.
- Practical reasons: It’s not always easy to find time after a meeting or a project to give or request feedback or to acknowledge success, although there is great need for it. Digital feedback, in addition to face-to-face interactions, provides an additional channel for giving and receiving feedback.
- Many people find it easier to give feedback in an asynchronous way. On the one hand, this allows for taking the time to thoroughly think about what to communicate. On the other hand, it doesn’t call for an immediate reaction from the other person. Both parties can first think about the feedback given or received before continuing to talk about it.
- Get structured feedback and gather results in one place: Leapsome serves as a central platform to collect and process the digital continuous feedback given at [customer]. This increases the quality of the feedback, and every individual is able to (1) track their own development over time, (2) gain valuable insights about their strengths and (3) about potential differences in self-perception and other people’s assessments.

Who can give feedback to whom?
With Leapsome, anyone at [customer] can give and request digital continuous feedback to and from anyone else, regardless of hierarchy level or team membership.
Visibility & Anonymity of the Feedback
You can find information about visibility and anonymity of the digital feedback in the Leapsome HelpCenter.
By default, continuous feedback on Leapsome is always private between the sender and the receiver. HR teams and managers can only access meta level statistics, but cannot directly access your personal feedback, except when you specifically allow them to see it.
The digital continuous feedback is not anonymous. Feedback is more helpful if you can follow up face to face.
Technical implementation of the digital continuous feedback
