Goal Setting [& OKRs] with Leapsome
This document addresses the most pressing questions you might have about goal setting [and the implementation of Objectives and Key Results] with Leapsome, i.e., [what are OKRs,] why do we set goals and what does the process look like, who is the contact person at [customer] and where can I find further information.

What are OKRs and why use them?
The OKR method defines Objectives as inspiring and ambitious goals that are broad in nature and usually are not entirely achievable. In contrast, Key Results describe a specific, measurable success factor on the way to achieving the Objective.
OKRs help to create alignment across the company. They provide transparency on key priorities for each team and individual and facilitate better communication about goals and outcomes. Goals at different strategic levels can be aligned and coordinated. In doing so, every employee at [customer] is able to understand how his or her daily work adds to the company's success and what important contributions he or she makes in the team.

Technical implementation of the goal setting
Goal setting will be implemented using the software platform Leapsome. Leapsome provides a modular platform, which in a first step will be used to set and track goals at [customer]. Additional modules such as [specify or remove sentence] will be added later. The software platform allows to run these processes as standardized, automated and smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
Getting Started with Leapsome
On [XX.XX.XXXX] you will receive a personal invite to join Leapsome via email. Simply click on the link and create a user account. Please use Single-Sign-On via Gmail [or Office365 / specify or remove].
Setting & tracking goals
You can add new goals within the Goals module. Setting goals allows you to track them effectively and update their progress throughout the year. You’ll always find the current goal progress of your goals under Goals.
