360° Reviews and Goal Setting with Leapsome
This document addresses the most pressing questions you might have about goal setting and 360° reviews at [customer], i.e., why do we conduct 360° reviews, what does the process look like, who will be able to see the results, why do we set goals, who is the contact person at [customer] and where can I find further information.
Additionally, you will find information about the software platform Leapsome that we use to run these processes and on how to get started with the platform.
Why do we conduct 360° reviews?
A 360° review is a process in which a participant (or reviewee) receives feedback on his/her skills and behavior from different perspectives. Usually, a 360° review includes the manager, direct reports and/or other colleagues or team members (peers) of the participant as reviewers and asks the participant to also write a self-evaluation. The resulting feedback helps to compare the participant’s self-perception with external feedback and to recognize strengths and areas for development.

Technical implementation of the 360° review and goal setting
360° reviews and goal setting will be implemented using the software platform Leapsome. Leapsome provides a modular platform, which in a first step will be used to run 360° reviews and goal setting at [customer]. Additional modules such as [specify or remove sentence] will be added later. The software platform allows to run reviews, feedback and goals as standardized, automated and smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
Getting Started with Leapsome
On [XX.XX.XXXX] you will receive a personal invite to join Leapsome via email. Simply click on the link and create a user account. Please use Single-Sign-On via Gmail [or Office365 / specify or remove].
Important: 360° reviews (Reviews) and goal setting (Goals) are two distinct yet connected modules of the platform.
You will always add new goals within the Goals module. Setting goals allows you to track them effectively and update their progress throughout the year, independently of the bi-annual [change if different frequency used] review process. Goal progress is always tracked under Goals.
Participating in 360° reviews
Once the 360° review has been started by your admin, you will receive emails that guide you through the whole process step-by-step. Whenever a new action is required from you, you will receive a notification or reminder via email. Additionally, you can see all your to dos in the platform in the module Reviews. See exemplary “To Dos” in the image below:
Your active managed goals will later appear in your next 360° review cycle, where the final goal progress can be discussed and reviewed with your manager.
