Leapsome provides you with an automatically created org chart to facilitate internal networking. This org chart is based on the reporting lines between the primary manager and direct report as indicated in 'Employees'. The number of direct reports under each manager will be visible in the org chart. Click on the number to expand and view the correlating direct reports. You can also filter the org chart by teams, locations, managers, and users to filter the chart further down to the specifics you are looking for. The way employees are displayed is sorted alphabetically by their last name.
Below the org chart is a footer from which you can zoom in or out the org chart to your liking and recenter the view.
Accessing the Org Chart
Admins can define whether the org chart should be visible to everyone or only to Managers, Team leads, HRBPs, and Admins. This can be defined under 'Settings' > 'Emplooyees' > 'Access Configuration' > 'Employee profiles and list'.
Admins can always access the org chart via the following ways:
- 'Company' > 'Org chart'
- Click on the 'Your team' drop-down at the top of the page > 'Org chart'
- When viewing an employee's profile, click on 'Actions' > 'View in org chart'
If enabled, all users can access the org chart from the Home page by clicking on 'Your team' > 'Org chart' at the top of the page; Alternatively, by navigating to 'Company' > 'Employees' > 'Org Chart'.
