While goals are managed and updated on the 'Goals' tab, you can also include them in reviews. This option is available for all active individual goals (assigned to an employee) or any goals the employee contributes to. You can also filter to include goals only associated with a specific tag.
To do so, ensure 'Goals' are part of your Leapsome package, and the module is enabled in the 'Admin Settings.'
When setting up a review template, in the 'Questions' section, you will see the option to include 'Active individual goals.' When enabled, this will automatically create an additional question for every goal that meets the selected inclusion criteria. By default, active individual goals are selected. If you remove all filters, this means all non-private goals of your account are pulled in. You can include goals based on...
- Participant role (goal owner or contributor, key result owner or contributor, initiative owner or contributor, or Goal Manager (for team/company goals only)
- Goal Tags (e.g. Q1 2023)
- Purposes (business goal, personal development goal)
- Cycles
- States (active, draft, archived)
- Goal create drate
Leapsome will check non-private eligible goals continuously until the review is completed (e.g. the cycle is closed, or either the reviewee or manager has completed their assessment). This way, all applicable goals will be available to assess.
In the review, the goal will display the progress and provide a link to update or comment on the goal directly.
Please note: Any goal with the visibility set to completely private will not be included in the review cycle of that participant.
