Finding your self-assessment
If you were asked to write a self-evaluation in your cycle, you will be notified via email and see a corresponding item in your "To Do" list.
Clicking on that "To Do" - item, you will navigate to the screen where you can write your self-assessment. You will first see a summary view for all questions and can open individual questions by clicking on them. Some questions are linked to a scale, others just require a comment - this is defined by your admin.
While writing your answers, you can access previous feedback you have received - to do so, click on the corresponding item in the sidebar.
Your progress is saved automatically on a continuous basis. You can leave your self-assessment as a draft and go back and complete it at a later stage. At this stage, nobody else can see your answers.
Submitting your self-assessment
Once you have answered all mandatory questions, you will be able to "Submit" your self-assessment. Doing this will mark it as complete for administrators, who will be able to see your results.
Your manager might also gain access to the answers. The exact visibility settings are defined by admins and can be accessed by clicking "Questions on visibility?".
Discussing the results and editing your answers
If your manager is involved in the assessment process, you will later get access to the answers written by him or her (a notification by email will follow). In your "To Do" list, you will see a new item "Discuss and sign your results".
Up until the digital signature, you will still be able to edit your answers. Sometimes the development talk brings up topics that need to be clarified or changed, so you should be able to change your final result. To do so, simply click the "Edit" button at the top.
Please note: Cycles will be closed automatically 2 months after development talk deadline.
Signing the results
Once you have discussed the results with your manager, you should both summarize your discussion in the corresponding text boxes and click the button to "Accept the Assessment". Doing this will lock the results, and they can no longer be edited.
Accessing the results at a later stage
You can conveniently export all answers as a PDF file. Your results will also be accessible in the "Done".
Viewing answers of other contributors (optional)
Depending on the settings chosen by your admins, you might see answers from peers or your direct reports. They will be summarized underneath each question.
