Step 1: Define use cases and roll-out objectives
When rolling out the Leapsome Learning Module, you'll want to explicitly define what your company hopes to achieve. Define your use cases and how you want to measure whether the roll-out has been successful after 1 month, after 3 months, after 6 months, etc. This will help later on in evaluating success and ensuring you achieve your goals.
Things to think about:
- What is your key objective for each learning path?
- What would be the desired learning outcome?
- Do you have access to suitable content? Do you have the content prepared? Are there any gaps in the content?
- Who will participate?
- What is your timeline?
- What participation / completion rate do you want to achieve?
- Which stakeholders need to be included?
Step 2: Set up the first learning path in Leapsome
Set up the first learning path in Leapsome by creating learning elements and your first learning path. Start with one general learning path, e.g., a 'General Onboarding' that all new employees at your company should complete. Add additional learning paths later. This article walks you through how to create a learning path step-by-step.
Step 3: Test the learning path with a small number of users
Before activating the learning path for all users, test it with a small number of users first. For this, include only yourself and some of your colleagues as participants. Test whether all content you have added is set up correctly and flows the way you want.
Step 4: Communicate the Learning module roll-out to the company
When the tool is set up, communicate the roll-out of the Leapsome Learning Module to the entire company. Usually, managers and executives are the first to be informed (e.g., during a management meeting), followed by the rest of the company (e.g., during an all-hands meeting, via an intranet, via an email from the CEO / top management).
A clear driver for successful implementation is C-level support: In our experience, implementing new tools and features is particularly successful if the top management visibly supports and communicates the roll-out.
Send all users this tutorial video so they can quickly onboard to using the module.
Step 5: Collect feedback from the first group of users after they have completed the learning path
Ask your employees for feedback on your provided learning content and their user experience with Leapsome. Participants can reply to the "How would you rate this learning path?" pop up after finalizing a learning path. When navigating to 'Learning' > 'Learning paths', clicking on the relevant learning path > 'Dashboard', you can find the feedback results. Alternatively, you can use a Leapsome Survey for this or request feedback. If there are any comments about things that should change, implement them, or contact our customer success team for any questions or guidance (support@leapsome.com).
