Server log files

Information collected when using our software
When you register with Leapsome as an employer or employee (using the "employee self service"), information is needed such as your name, your email address and / or your telephone number, a password, and company details (such as name, address, or size of the company). When you purchase a paid version of Leapsome, you will be asked to enter credit card information and additional billing details.
This information is collected, stored and processed by Leapsome to be able to render our service as defined by our contractual obligations and / or to comply with the law. When using our service as an employee ("employee self service"), the collection and processing of your information happens on behalf of your employer.
How we use your information
Leapsome uses your information for processing your order, billing, support, communication with you, provision of our service and service improvements. Leapsome will send a registration email, several emails containing onboarding tips, as well as emails regarding feedback requests, feedback reminders or other notifications. Administrators will receive service, billing and support related email announcements and other notifications. The user may unsubscribe from emails.
Sharing and disclosure
All of your personal data remains private and confidential and will only be processed in accordance with German data protection laws and - in the case of the "employee self service" - following guidance from your employer.
We will not sell, rent or exchange your personal data with any third party marketers without your permission. We may engage with and process personal data through third party service providers (e.g. transactional email service providers) or third party integrations if enabled by you (e.g. Slack) to be able to render our services.
Leapsome may share collected information:
- to respond to investigations, court orders or legal process,
- to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, potential threats to the physical safety of any person,
- to investigate violations of Leapsome’s Terms of Service, or
- as otherwise required by law.
Leapsome takes all appropriate technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data from loss and misuse. Your data is stored in a secure operating environment, which is not publicly accessible. Your personal data is encrypted when transferred using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
