When logging into Leapsome, your employees see their dashboards first. You can place important company announcements and milestones on them for everyone to see. These small yet meaningful touches foster a sense of belonging and appreciation within the company. Admins can easily share important updates and celebrate milestones, ensuring everyone feels connected and informed.
These updates can include announcing the upcoming company-wide offsite, performance review cycle, company hackathon, rollout of a new training and development program, and more!
How to set up a company announcement
As an Admin, you can create, update, and delete announcements by navigating to 'Settings' > 'Company' > 'Announcements'. Company announcements will allow you to communicate essential information promptly. To set up a company announcement, click on 'New Announcement' and start drafting the header and the description, as well as defining the start and end dates of the announcement. Please note: The start and end dates are displayed and maintained in the company's timezone. Announcements will become active for all users at that time.
You also have the option to translate the announcement's header and description by clicking on the translation icon on the right side of the editing fields. Respective translations will be displayed to users based on their chosen platform language.
Once the deadline for the announcement passes, announcements get hidden.
Lastly, the announcements can’t be dismissed and are visible on the dashboard until their end date.
If you want to delete or edit your existing announcement, click on the three vertical dots next to the announcement.
