Admins can allow users to submit questions through the Leapsome's Q&A Board. Allowing employees to submit questions can provide an opportunity for the company to submit their questions on topics and allow other users to vote on the most pressing questions that need to be answered. Once questions are submitted, owners can answer the questions, document the responses, and even make these responses available for everyone to access to maintain transparency where relevant.

Enable Q&A boards
To enable access to the question boards, Admins can navigate to 'Settings' > 'Employees' > 'Access Configuration' > find the 'Platform' subsection > enable 'View question boards'.
Admins can select question board owners who would have access to all questions as well as start a conversation to respond to the questions. Admins can also enable the option to allow employees to submit new questions, and subsequently, disable this option when they would like to prevent new submissions, in the event question submissions are time-sensitive. If they would like to retain the anonymity of the questions submitted, admins can also enable an option to make submissions anonymous.
Approve questions for the Q&A boards
Admins have the option to enable pre-moderation for the Q&A boards. The board owners and the admins will approve the questions submitted. In the approval pending state, these are only visible to the board owners and admins. Once approved, they are visible to everyone who has access.
Pre-moderation allows admins and board owners to fully control the process of the questions being posted on the boards, thereby removing concerns about inappropriate questions being asked.
If the Q&A board is enabled, you can submit questions by going to 'Company' > Q&A boards > Actions > + New question.
You can then submit a question and select the option to submit the question anonymously (if enabled).
Voting for questions
Users can vote for questions that they would like answered so admins/question board owners can better understand how much of a priority these questions/issues are for the company. More votes mean that employees value an answer to that question.
Comments and answers
Question board owners and/or admins can write comments on questions to either begin a conversation with the user who submitted the question or answer the question. Only the question creators and question board owners can comment on a question or have a conversation under the question. If the question is answered, the owners/admins can click 'Mark as answered.' This would move the question from the status 'Open' to the status 'Answered'.
Status and Filters
When users navigate to the Q&A board menu, they will see all open questions by default. If questions have been answered, they can view those questions and responses by changing the filter from 'Status: Open' to 'Status: Answered.'
If a question is answered, it will have a timestamp indicating what time the question was answered. In the event that the question becomes relevant again, or owners/admins would like to change the status back to open, the question board owner(s)/admins can opt to reopen the question. This would then change the status back to 'Open' and therefore be visible through the default filter of 'Status: Open,' for all employees. This option can be used in the event that owners/admins would like to allow the employees to further engage with the question through voting by increasing its visibility.
