Requesting feedback is easy. In the 'Instant Feedback' module, click 'Actions' > 'Request feedback'. You can ask for feedback from multiple users at a time - simply add their names in the corresponding form. You can also add specific competencies you would like to get feedback on. Adding a note makes your request more specific and usually triggers more helpful feedback.
To view the self-guided tour below in full screen, click the fullscreen button at the top right corner. Then, click on the self-guided tour itself for step-by-step instructions.
Additionally, you can request feedback from the 'Create' shortcut found at the top of your Leapsome page and choose 'Instant feedback request'.
Requesting Instant Feedback for your Direct Reports
Who can request feedback for their team
Managers may want to request instant feedback on members of their team(s) before assessments are launched. Direct managers can request feedback for their direct reports from anyone in the company. Only one direct report may be selected to receive feedback; however, the manager can select multiple peers to give feedback to that direct report with a single request. The manager can pick specific competencies they would like their direct reports to be assessed on by the peer, and the peer can also select other competencies they would like to provide an assessment on through the request.
Please note: Additional managers cannot request feedback for their reports and team leads cannot request feedback for their indirect reports.
Visibility Rules
Feedback giver: The feedback giver is the person selected to provide feedback to the specified direct report.
Direct report: The team member in your team that you would like to get some feedback on.
The visibility is selected by the manager requesting the feedback and cannot be changed by peer(s) providing the feedback.
If the visibility is set to include 'Only feedback giver and me,' this means that you, as the manager and the person providing the feedback (feedback giver), would have visibility of the feedback provided to the direct report.
If the visibility is set to include the 'Feedback giver, direct feedback, and me' this means that you, the person providing the feedback (feedback giver), and the person being assessed through the feedback (direct report), would all have visibility of the feedback given.
Open feedback requests
You can take a look at the feedback requests that you have sent for yourself. These requests will be at the top of the feedback in the Instant Feedback module. By default, they will not be toggled, but once toggled, all open requests will be visible and expandable.
